As the year 2023 came to a close, the card battler genre on Android devices continued to engage players across Australia. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how the top five card battler applications fared in the final quarter of the year.

Starting with MARVEL SNAP, the title from Nuverse experienced fluctuating revenue, peaking at around $22K in early November before settling to approximately $13K by December end. Downloads showed a high of 772 in mid-October, while weekly active users reached their zenith at 6.6K in early October, later declining to about 4K.

2K, Inc.'s WWE SuperCard - Battle Cards saw its revenue rise to $13K in early December, after a dip to $4.5K in late October. The game's downloads hovered around the 100 mark towards the year's end, with weekly active users showing a modest increase to approximately 1.9K from 1.8K earlier in the quarter.

Hearthstone, by Blizzard Entertainment, had a notable spike in revenue to $19K in mid-November, followed by a decrease to around $3.7K by Christmas. The game's download numbers were significant in early December, reaching 365, while weekly active users saw a high of 3.5K in mid-December, down from a similar number earlier in the quarter.

KONAMI's Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links showed a revenue peak at $6.3K in late October, with downloads reaching 262 in the same period. Active users saw a high of 902 in late October, a rise from earlier numbers around 800.

Lastly, Magic: The Gathering Arena from Wizards of the Coast LLC witnessed its revenue peak at $8.2K in mid-November, with a year-end figure close to $4.7K. Downloads for the title saw a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching 467. The weekly active users showed a slight increase, ending the year at 2.7K.
